Responsibilities (include but not exclusive to the following):
Partner with management and department managers to address employee relations issues including but not limited to performance and behavioral problems, development plans, position eliminations, restructuring, and investigations (partner with CHRO, CA, USI Benefits Service Center, Corporate HR, and USI Payroll as needed). Provide proactive employee relations guidance to resolve employee issues and ensure the organization's compliance with policies, procedures, federal and state regulations. Actively manage, coach and act on under performers. Administer performance management process which includes performance review preparation and merit increase determination; educate employees and managers on the process; provide corporate with requested information. Participate and partner with HR colleagues in rolling out employee wellness plans throughout the organization or USI initiatives. Recruit for open positions and ensure compliance with equal opportunity policy, affirmative action and federal and state regulations. Manage all phases of the new hire process. Identify and escalate potential problems such as harassment or violations of USI policies. Under the guidance of the RCHRO, counsel managers and facilitate formal disciplinary actions including terminations. Manage all aspects of payroll changes and submissions to the payroll Shared Service group. Act as liaison between employees and the Payroll Shared Services Group and the Benefits Service Center. Partner with Corporate HR to handle FMLA, STD, LTD and workers compensation. Comply with policies and procedures with regard to terminations including preparing necessary departing paperwork for employee, conducing exit interviews, gathering company property, informing unemployment divisions. Manage time and attendance system to include:
assisting with training, answering questions, calculating annual PTO accrual rates and managing the annual PTO carry over process. Facilitate the coordination of training programs. Provide guidance and training on the performance management system and ensure appropriate rating distributions are achieved and that deadlines are communicated and met. Coordinate employee outings and festivities. Maintain personnel and payroll files ensuring security and confidentiality. Partner with Business Unit Leaders, Regional Chief HR Officer, and Regional HR Business Partner. Perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

years as Human Resources Generalist. BA in Business Administration or related field preferred. Superior interpersonal, verbal/written communication and presentation skills. Must have the ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues, by using sound judgment that is consistent with business standards, practices, policies, procedures and regulations. Basic core competencies in Employee Relations and Recruitment. Must be successful working independently with limited supervision. Strong computer skills including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and HRIS system experience.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
HR Generalists & Business PartnersEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
