Sales growth and customer diversification have created the need for a new position to support Account Managers with detailed administrative duties including:
PO and invoice maintenance in various customer portals, item setup in company's proprietary computer system, help with timeline management for various projects, and general support for ad hoc projects.
Work hours:
40 hours per week, salaried position, must work in Oak Brook, IL office.

Assistant Account Manager PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Supporting multiple Account Managers with weekly administrative duties and ad hoc projects as needed.
Responsibility for producing a set number of weekly reports and tasks, while simultaneously helping with timeline sensitive projects.
Qualifications:
Experience in a fast paced professional office environment, past work with major national retailer's portals is a plus (like Walmart's Retail Link).
Ability to handle multiple tasks with energy and enthusiasm.
Willingness to help with a range of business and project specific tasks.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Handle weekly routine administrative tasks for Account Managers.
Answer office phones and process incoming mail and packages as needed Fill in for Account Managers when they are out of office on Personal Time Off.
Assist in general office duties including test kitchen projects.
Assist Account Managers and Sales Managers on time sensitive ad hoc projects.
CRITICAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES Strong computer skills are required, specifically with Microsoft Office 365 suite of programs (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
) Professional e-mail, communication and phone skills.
Ability to manage and organize files, maintain office conditions, and assist management with various office related tasks.
EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING High school diploma or equivalent College or specific vocational education preferred PERSONNEL SKILLS Outgoing, works independently, self-starter, professional demeanor Service oriented, organized and prompt PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS:
Timely completion of scheduled tasks and positive input on sensitive projects will open the opportunity for future promotion and career growth.
