Job Description:
Dual-physician family in Oak Brook is seeking an adaptable, caring nanny for 2 kids.
Nanny should be experienced and ideally an English and Spanish speaker, though not a requirement.
August 2023 start date.
Schedule:
The schedule will be determined 4 months in advance based on parent's assigned shifts.
Earliest start time is 6:
30am and latest end time is 7pm.
120 hours guaranteed per month Monday-Friday.
Family can be flexible on schedule if nanny needs certain days off.
Compensation:
$25-$27/hr.
PTO, holidays, vacation time.
Job Details and requirements:
2 kids:
5 yo.
in full-time Kindergarten and 2 yo.
in a part-time school.
Responsibilities include all childcare such as picking up kids from school and taking to activities, providing healthy meals & snacks, implementing an age-appropriate schedule, etc.
On days older child is off school, nanny should plan fun, age-appropriate activities and be comfortable with 2 kids.
When time allows, nanny should be comfortable assisting with meal prep and light cooking.
Candidate should be proactive and find what needs to be done.
Housekeeper is employed.
No deep cleaning is needed but nanny should handle child-related tidying, child laundry and light cleaning.
Parents both work outside of the home.
There may be days when nanny works and mom is home.
She will be in/out.
Nanny should be comfortable with this arrangement.
Ideally, nanny is open 1 weekend day a month to work (known in advance) but this is not a requirement.
Qualifications:
Experienced, flexible and looking for a long-term fit with a family.
Nanny should have a safe driving record and the ability to provide a safe vehicle for use on the job.
Organized and proactive with strong communication skills.
Spanish speaker is a huge bonus but not a requirement.
Enjoys cooking! COVID vaccine required.
