The Director, Talent Acquisition has overall responsibility for talent attraction and acquisition for the organization.
Oversee and manage a a team responsible for search, pipeline building, interviewing, testing, selection, reference checking, and onboarding employment activities.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for recruiting and screening candidates.
Establishes, implements, and manages policies, plans and procedures that support the achievement of business goals.
Responsible for bringing proven best practices around recruitment, recruiting operations, reporting, analytics, and sourcing.
Serve as talent business partner to the business and an advisor to subordinates to meet schedules and resolve problems.
Work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of the organization.

Responsibilities:
Collaboratively leads the evaluation and development of the talent acquisition process and initiatives for the organization, including management of the complete talent acquisition lifecycle process, candidate sourcing and assessment, and all hiring policies and practices.
Provides strategic and tactical input and direction to ongoing recruitment initiatives.
Designs and implements creative sourcing strategies to attract top talent; build new talent channels that continually replenish the candidate pipeline with quality candidates based on hiring needs, market conditions, and current/projected operational needs.
Manages relationships with appropriate external organizations, including vendor selection, and contract negotiation, in order to meet talent acquisition and workforce hiring goals.
Identifies opportunities to enhance Company social media recruiting presence.
Monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media recruiting programs, and analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns to maximize results.
Manage, maintain, and leverage the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and its workflow for best results.
Lead with a digital mindset, organize work practices to be efficient and collaborative, drive for results and demonstrate the role as a true talent advisor.
Collaboratively works with HRIS and IT teams on the development and continuous enhancement of the (ATS) and other supporting tools.
Collaborates with Communications and other resources to develop and drive a strong employment brand that positions the enterprise as an employer of choice amongst professional communities and passive applicants.
Manages recruitment performance against established key metrics.
Maintains all supporting records and data, including applicant statistics.
Oversees processes to ensure quality of candidate experience, diverse candidate slates, and appropriate talent evaluation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field required.
Master's degree preferred.
Minimum 7 years of experience in recruitment and staffing, including a minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience.
Diverse HR background with experience/involvement in compensation, employee relations and training preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge in full lifecycle recruiting components including but not limited to, sourcing, networking, and relationship management.
Strategic planning skills coupled with hands-on operational and implementation experience and the ability to align processes and systems preferred.
Demonstrated expertise leveraging social media sites (i.
e.
, Linkedin) and other web communication techniques and recruiting tools to attract candidates for recruiting purposes.
Strong writing and editing skills to quickly produce clear and concise standard communications.
Highly developed interview skills and ability to execute good judgment.
Strong customer service-based approach to work and strong relationship building skills.
Must be results-oriented, able to handle multiple tasks of an urgent nature and must effectively deal with ambiguity.
Expertise in developing and presenting strategic recruitment plans to internal clients and sourcing for hard-to-fill and critical positions.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
