Job Description:
About the Role:
The Senior Financial Analyst works closely with the Manager of IT Finance in a dynamic environment as the Finance and Accounting liaison across all Treehouse IT functions.
This role will focus on executing the entire finance and accounting process as it relates IT, along with ownership of capital projects, development of business cases, and teaming with the IT function as a financial liaisonYou'll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:
Partnering with the Manager of IT Finance and other IT personnel to execute the capital investment/prepaid process related to all IT projects including post implementation audits on costs and returnsAdministering the month-end processes, including the journal entry process and utilization of BPC for standardized / ad-hoc management reporting and variance analysisPartnering with IT executives to develop financial forecast for all IT cost centersRepresenting IT in any projects related to SG&A budgeting, forecasting, and reporting vsactualsTeaming with Shared Services resources to ensure completion of tasks based on a set calendar including cost center expense analysis, invoice management, timesheet validation, overhead management, etc.
Important Details:
This is a full-time permanent role and will be hybrid, in the office in Oak Brook, IL Tuesday through Thursday.
About You:
You'll fit right in if you have:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance or related3 or more years of accounting and financial forecasting experience (IT environment preferred).
Strong analytical, critical thinking, interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills allowing you to work effectively as part of a team or independently on multiple projects by investigating problems and coming up with solutions.
