Responsibilities:
Experience across various tax entities and forms is required.
Lead and oversee complex engagements, ensuring adherence to professional standards, budgets, and deadlines.
Identify and execute tax planning strategies for clients, aiding in tax savings.
Proficiently handle intricate corporate, partnership, and personal income tax returns.
Represent clients during federal or state examinations by tax authorities.
Demonstrate strong written skills for resolving tax notices.
Prepare financial statements, reports, and records.
Train and guide junior staff.
Develop new business prospects.
Stay updated on professional and technical knowledge.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting Active CPA At least 5 years experience in a public accounting firm.
Proficiency in tax and accounting software, preferably Thomson Reuters.
Experience with QuickBooks is advantageous.
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
In-depth knowledge of corporate tax code, compliance, and procedures.
Familiarity with U.
Sfederal, state, and local reporting requirements.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with teams and clients.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite - Word, Excel, Outlook.
Desirable experience with Vlookup and pivot tables.
