he Senior Instructional Designer is responsible for designing and/or developing facilitator and participant guides, training materials, performance support tools, self-studies, and elearning and mlearning solutions primarily in the technical content area. Primary areas generally include those aligned to our firm's business units: Audit, Tax and Consulting areas. We are looking for a high performing, motivated individual with a desire to create innovative learning solutions in our professional services environment. Candidates will have strong consulting and instructional design skills that enable them to help key stakeholders determine the best solution for the needed performance outcomes. Successful candidates will have experience working on multiple projects, bringing learning designs to life using traditional as well as new learning strategies (e.g. mobile learning, gaming) and excellent customer relationship skills.
This individual will:
Consult with leadership, business units, SMEs, project leads, and key stakeholders to identify and assess training needs
Propose, design and develop industry-leading learning solutions such as instructor-led courses, e-learning, video, job aids and other instructional assets
Work independently with SMEs or with guidance from peers or leadership to design learning solutions on multiple delivery platform as assigned, including but not limited to ILT, rapid-development, video, elearning, self-studies, synchronous and asynchronous virtual sessions, and performance support tools
Partner and collaborate with team members to effectively contribute to all phases of instructional design; design, develop, pilot, release, support, evaluate and revise
Identify opportunities for improving the strategy, process, policies and solutions
Provide quality assurance for all instructional design processes and deliverables (e.g. accuracy in grammar and content, application of learning theory and sound instructional design principles, and use of appropriate templates and branding)
Work with team members to design, support and maintain strategic initiatives including but not limited to program evaluations, course maintenance, and process documentation
Keep abreast of new and developing trends in training and adult learning and applies where and when appropriate to support strategic business needs
Apply instructional design and adult learning theory to propose solutions that are cost-effective, easy-to-create and maintain, visually and instructionally compelling and provide a rewarding experience for the learner
Participate and contribute in project management meetings and ensure project deliverables are in scope and on-time
Create design and development workplans, estimating effort and timeline for development and delivery of various learning solutions
Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner in accordance with established company policies to achieve the firms overall strategic objectives
Build creative and interactive training content including demos, job aids, surveys, pre and post-tests, and learning activities
Leads needs assessment processes to determine performance requirements and training design
Create project documentation including design templates, standards, style guides, technical specifications, straw models, video scripts, train-the-trainer, pilot materials, and errata sheets
Leverages knowledge of key learning theory (e.g. cognitive, Blooms Taxonomy, etc) in creating innovative learning solutions

Minimum
Qualifications:
Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Design, Education, Instructional Systems Design, Adult Education or related field.
Minimum five years developing instructor-led, eLearning and virtual learning solutions in a corporate environment
Expertise designing for development in one or more eLearning authoring packages (e.g. Captivate, Lectora, Adobe eLearning Suite, LearnLive, Adobe Connect, WebEx, APPs)
Experience consulting with clients to determine the best instructional solutions and/or strategies
Strong level of professionalism and credibility
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint
Experience with a Learning Management System (LMS), Cornerstone preferred
Connected with professional organizations and maintains accessibility to industry resources

Preferred:
M.Ed. or M.S. in Instructional Design or related field or equivalent years experience
Awareness of NASBA guidelines for CPE credit
Familiarity with SharePoint 2013
Demonstrated experience integrating elearning solutions, such as simulations, into an overall curriculum





Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
