Medical Product Program Manager

We are looking for a Medical Product Program Manager.
This is a contract position for 6 months, possible extension.
The ideal Program Manager with have10-16 years of experience.
The Program Manager has overall accountability for programs and projects from concept through launch. The Program Manager is responsible to ensure the Core Team as well as the Extended Team is on track following the established and approved business plan. The Program Manager is responsible for presenting issues, recommendations and updates to the Governance Committee. The PM has the required skills to form high performing teams that will result in the timely and high quality execution of the assigned program(s).
Preferred certification: Certification by PMI, PDMA or other institutions if they desire to grow in the career path.
Should have a technical degree in a field that is related to medical devices. A bachelor's degree is a requirement. Masters degrees or Doctoral degrees are also acceptable provided the incumbent has demonstrated project-planning skills.
Program Manager is accountable to get the program started which includes identifying appropriate level of resources, gaining buy in from functional managers, setting up budgets, etc. Program Manager is also accountable to the Governance Committee, Business Teams, Core Team and Extended Team members for the project time lines, deliverables, and budget as defined in the business contract. Program Manager is responsible for communicating project status, key events, issues and action plans to the Governance Committee, Business Team, Program Director, Core & Extended team members. In the event that issues are broader than the sphere of influence, the program manager is expected to work with higher management to facilitate resolution. The Program Manager has the authority to create cross-functional action plans, delegate tasks, and expect regular updates from team members with respect to their projects. The Program Manager also is responsible to provide guidance to core team members on management techniques (i.e., conflict resolution, problem solving, decision making, etc.) to ensure goals are being met within the agreed upon business contract.
