Position requires local travel to client sites in the Chicago area
Prestigious Microsoft Gold Partner Firm is currently seeking a permanent Office 365 and Exchange Engineer, preferably with some VMware experience, but not a must. Candidate will have strong experience with design, implementation, migration, and support of Microsoft Server and Messaging Technologies.
Responsibilities:
Perform system design, implementation, and migration of Microsoft Exchange and Office 365 Messaging systems.
Establish system monitoring alerts and manage ongoing maintenance of those alerts
Work with the software engineering team for hardware requisition and provisioning
Qualifications:
5
years experience working with Windows Server and Exchange 2007/2010 and strong migration to 2010 experience.
Office 365 migration experience
VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix, and/or Cisco experience preferred
Ability to maintain server hardware and troubleshoot and resolve production problems
Must have proven technical problem solving
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent documentation and knowledge management skillsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
