Responsibilities:
Analyze, develop, and implement complex business application systems and programs. Create new applications or enhance existing ones to provide additional functionality. Troubleshoot application issues identified by users. Develop project plans and cost analysis estimates to establish project expectations and accountability within the project team. Create the necessary workflow and design documents to communicate the business requirements. Maintain and monitor a testing environment for unit testing of all development work. Create and execute the necessary testing plans, ensuring that all defects are recorded and resolved on a timely basis to meet the target deadline. Assess the functionality and limitations of various computer-related hardware and software products.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree Hands-on experience with application programming (.NET, Informix 4GL, Genero, Java) Experience doing database programming (Informix, Oracle, SQL Server, MS Access) Strong understanding of insurance business principles, processes and techniques
