IT Project Leader

The MCD/IT Development Technical Services department is in search of a highly motivated and enthusiastic Project Leader for the Technical Services team.
The MCD IT Development Technical Services team is responsible for providing early operation testing, visibility, impact assessment of operation and technology enabling early learning and decreasing time to market. The Technical Services team achieves this through the implementation of new IT/Digital concepts in our Tech Seed restaurants, working on new concepts in our lab and pilot restaurants and consulting with the Markets on deployment of restaurant technology.
The successful candidate for this role supports the successful delivery of a project. Applies defined Project Management practices to ensure a specific sub-component of the project, or a single, non-complex project is delivered on time, on budget, and in scope. Key stakeholder include users of the Restaurant Solutions Group, Digital Teams, IT Development and/or members of the project management team.
Project Execution
Assists in the implementation of the project plan. Learns and applies the different project management disciplines (e.g., project planning and tracking, status reporting, risk identification, issue tracking, etc.).
Tracks costs within the project to maintain overall project budget.
Under the direction of the project decision-making body/group, initiates and/or executes requests for changes in project scope and resource requirements.
Allocates assigned resources within their sub-project/project.
Collaborates with project team and/or Project Manager to track the project's progress against the project plan and collectively adjust the project plan to ensure effective completion based on defined project success measures.
Strives to maintain an understanding of other technology and/or business initiatives outside of the current project to ensure alignment and integration where possible.
Drives issue resolution through issue and risk tracking and facilitating issue closure.
Escalates issues appropriately.
Understand business and Ops requirements in order to discern technology impacts and create appropriate project plans.
Stakeholder management, collaboration and communication
Project Planning
Participates in creating the project charter or statement of work, the schedule, the milestones, the scope, and the asset/resource requirements.
Participates in a risk assessment/risk mitigation plan for the project.
Follows the rules of engagement for the project, e.g., the standards used, the executive sponsorship/governance group and structure, team operating guidelines, issue escalation policies, etc.
May define and gain concurrence on the success criteria for a smaller project, as well as the ways in which the success of the project will be measured.
Provides or facilitates cost and time estimates in accordance with the lifecycle of the project.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
