Compensation Analyst

Partners with the VP HR and the Corporate department management team to optimize the execution of human resource compensation policies, programs and initiatives.
Supports the Corporate HR Compensation function in the design, development, implementation, compliance, administration and communication of compensation-related programs.
Compensation program support includes base pay, annual bonus, sales incentives, equity awards and other rewards in a Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) environment.
This position supports the VPHR and the Corporate departmental management team to ensure that the HR Department meets the organization's expectations.
This position supports cross-functional planning and execution of projects aligned with the HR strategy.
Key Activities/Responsibilities Broad-Based Compensation Contributes to job evaluations, salary grade assignments and FLSA classifications with the outcome of ensuring equity and consistency (where appropriate), market competitiveness, and control Explore and incorporate market-based pricing into job evaluations and salary grade assignments Provide advice and guidance to HR and management on compensation-related issues to ensure compliance and issue resolution Participate in compensation surveys to collect and analyze competitive salary information to determine and ensure Company's competitive position.
Prepare analysis of survey data; design and implement resulting actions (also applicable to Executive Compensation) Play an enterprise role in recommending parameters for and reviews of annual merit/performance processes Business Unit Variable Pay Plan Provide guidance and oversight of business unit variable pay plans (e.
g.
, sales, gainsharing, etc.
) to leverage existing programs and best practices as well as to ensure competitive, results-based programs Executive Compensation Research and consolidate data for CBC review and Proxy statement (as needed) Support Company LTI process Recruitment Optimization Identify, compile and communicate meaningful metrics (e.
g.
, days to fill, regrettable turnover, etc.
)Support talent management process Support Talent Management Process Lead On- and Off-Boarding personnel Day-to-day administration (e.
g.
, status changes, interface with Payroll, etc.
) in a timely and effective manner EDUCATIONBachelor's Degree or equivalent in Business, Human Resources management, Finance or related discipline preferred.
JOB EXPERIENCE 3-5 years of experience in and support in an HR generalist and/or compensation analyst roles.
Strong working knowledge of HR business processes desired.
Corporate office or professional services preferred SKILLS REQUIRE Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to translate complex topics to employee-friendly language.
Demonstrated knowledge of Excel.
Strong attention to detail and the proven ability to take initiative, make independent decisions, exercise sound judgment and develop creative solutions.
Ability to work collaboratively with a team of strong individuals with competing requirements towards acceptable centralized solutions to optimize business processes.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
